Help the best man to organise the bachelor.

Rent and pay for your tuxedo.

Confirm final arrangements with the best man, including the time of arrival at the church.

1 day before

Collect any and all hired clothing and accessories.

On the day

Collect boutonnieres from the best man.

Arrive at the church at least half an hour before the ceremony is due to start.

At the church

Assist with car parking.

Greet the guests and hand out service sheets and maps showing the route to the reception.

Try and seat couples with young babies and children near exits.

Make sure that the church is left tidy and check for any property left behind.

Make sure that all guests have transport to the reception.

At the reception

Assist with car parking.

Assist any elderly or infirm guests.

Dance with the bridesmaids.

After the wedding

Assist with getting all the gifts to the car.

Return any hired clothing and accessories.

Assist with the cleaning up of the venue after the reception.
